WHELAN age 81, beloved husband of 51 yrs to Nancy (nee Walsh), father of Paul (Suzy), Mimi Malaga (Jack), Thomas (Erika), Patricia Hoeptner, Christopher (Karla), David and Colleen Moore (Jeff), grandfather of Joshua, Judy, Leah, Melanie, Kyle, Johnny, Madison, Alana, Sean, Colin, Owen, Summer, Sanibel, Alaya and Roan, great grandfather of Alex, brother of the late Fr. Thomas Whelan and Robert Whelan, uncle and great uncle of many. Accomplished musician. U.S. Navy Korean Conflict veteran; retired from Navy Reserves. Passed away August 7, 2012.
