ALEXANDER JOHN JAROSI, age 63. Beloved son of the late Mary Ann (nee Maglosky) and Jaroslav Alexander. Loving nephew of Rose Beals (Bird) (deceased); cousin of Nancy Wise (Richard) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Janet Beals Orejudos (Gilbert) of Chicago, IL and second cousin of Evan Wise of Brooklyn, NY. Alexander was baptized and confirmed at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, the church founded by his grandfather, Reverend Leopold Alexander Jarosi. He worked at Rocky River and Brooklyn Adult Training Centers and attended Ageline Day Centers. He attended a variety of camps, his favorite being Camp Christopher in Akron. Alexander participated in the Cuyahoga County Special Olympics. He won a gold medal for cross country skiing and medals in a variety of other sports. He bowled for many years and attended many sporting events - whether professional, college or high school. He enjoyed music and dancing, attended many Broadway musicals, stage plays and operas and had an extensive record collection. For 27 years Alexander resided at Tremont House and Walter Road House through Koinonia Homes. Passed away April 8, 2017. Funeral Service Saturday, April 22, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (6220 Broadview Rd., Parma, OH 44134) at 11:00 A.M. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, FRIDAY, APRIL 21, 4-7 P.M. AND AT CHURCH ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE ON SATURDAY. The family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
