ALLEN PATRICK COONEY, age 78, beloved husband of 50 years to Patricia (nee Schurk).  He was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Anne (nee Mayville) and Edward Cooney.  He is survived by his brother Norman, sister-in-law Linda Green, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert and Phyllis Schurk and many cousins and friends.  He is the uncle of 7, great-uncle of 15 and great-great uncle of 1.  Preceded in death by his brother Edwin and nephews Michael and Richard.  He was the founder of Volleyball Associates and ran many tournaments.  Passed away February 21, 2019.  Funeral Service Wednesday, March 6, at 10:30 A.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., where friends may call TUESDAY 2-4 P.M. AND 6-8 P.M.   Inurnment Sunset Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
