ANGELA M. LIBERATORE

ANGELA M. LIBERATORE (nee Scherry) age 89. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale A.; loving mother of Michael V. (Robin), Mary F. Schragal (Nick), Anne M. Reed (Kenneth), Teresa M. Pinter (Kenric), and Angela M. Liberatore; cherished grandmother of Ashley, Brian, Nicholas, Alex, Kevin, Carly, Brady, Megan and Caleb; daughter of the late Leona (nee Bischof) and Albert Scherry; sister of Raymond (Arlene) and the late Joseph (Virginia) and Eugene (Judith); aunt and friend of many.

Angela was a proud graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Class of 1956. She worked for Key Bank (Rocky River branch) as a bank teller. She volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Red Coats at Playhouse Square. She was a Eucharist Minister at Regina Health Center and St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She was involved with the many ministries at St. Patrick Church (West Park) and Church of the Assumption in Broadview Hts. Angela, an avid plant lover, was often seen tending to and watering the plants throughout Jennings of Brecksville earning her the affectionate nickname of "the plant lady."

Most of all Angela loved supporting all of her grandchildren in all of their sports and activities. She was a selfless giver of her time, talent and energy for her family, community and church. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Passed away June 1, 2026. Funeral Mass Monday, June 8, Church of the Assumption (9138 Broadview Rd. Broadview Hts.) at 10:00 AM. PEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS SUNDAY 3-6 PM. In lieu flowers contributions to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, 21281 Chardon Rd.
