ANNE D. ANDERSON MARSHALL (nee Makuch), age 91, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018, at Huntington Woods Health Center in Westlake, Ohio. She was born on March 10, 1927, to Anna (nee Purvin) and Theodore Makuch, the youngest of seven children. She grew up in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. She spent most of her adult life in Cleveland, Ohio and its westside suburbs. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper while raising her three children. Anne loved family, music, singing, and dancing, and was a talented ballroom dancer, spending many happy times dancing at the German Central Club in Cleveland. After retiring she was a volunteer for many years at West Shore Hospital and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel and never missed a family gathering whether in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, or Florida. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt.

Anne is survived by her children: Robert Anderson (Kathleen), James Anderson (Terri), and Marie Abbott (Bernard); 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings—Margaret Dysleski, Violet Drozd, Joseph Makuch, Theodore Makuch, Frank Marko, and Chester Makuch.

Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., FRIDAY, APRIL 27, 6-8 P.M. Funeral and burial services will be held on Monday, April 30 at St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church and Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org for dementia research.
