ANNE H. RYBA (nee Lucas), age 77, beloved wife of 58 years to Edward A.; loving mother of Denise Loewenthal (Howard), Karole Polk and Barbara Scullin (Christopher); grandmother of Brandon and Ashton Steinhagen, Nathan Loewenthal, Kristina and Thomas Polk, and Elise and Patrick Scullin; sister of John Lucas (Mary) (both deceased), Mary Lucas (deceased), George Lucas (Mary Helen) (both deceased), Michael Lucas (Patricia) (both deceased), Joseph Lucas (Jeanne, deceased), Elizabeth Krupar (Paul) (both deceased), Stephen Lucas (deceased) (Rita), Edward Lucas (Adela, deceased) (Ann Ward), Bernadine Kapura (Edward), Thomas Lucas (Marilyn) and Vincent Lucas; beloved aunt and great-aunt of many. Anne was born in Grassflat, PA to the late Mary (nee Meyer) and George Lucas. She was the author of "Humble Beginnings" about her life growing up in a Slovak community in Grassflat. Anne's children, grandchildren and her large family were the things she held dearest. Passed away October 25, 2018. Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 30, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted) at 10 A.M. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
