ANNE E. THOMPSON, age 86, of North Ridgeville, died Friday, October 18, 2019 at her son's home in Pickerington. Born April 16, 1933 in Cleveland to the late Charles and Eleanor Schneider. She was a graduate of John Marshall High School, attended Ohio University, and was a retired executive assistant at several school districts. She volunteered at St. John Medical Center in Westlake, and was a member of both St. Julie of Billiart Parish in North Ridgeville and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Pickerington. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren Thompson in 2003; and twin sister, Lois Straslicka.
She is survived by her children, Tommy (Denise) Thompson, Pickerington, and Tami Thompson Jones, North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Chris (Jennifer) Thompson, Melissa (Jeff) Kirian, Lauren (Matt) Brown, Drew (Hillary) Thompson, Jason (Nichole) Jones, Jeremy (Jennifer) Jones, Brittni (Jonathan) Daniels; great-grandchildren, Brin, Carlee, Arden, Grady, Jacob, Evelyn, Cooper, Addilyn, Noah, Oaklynn, Kyra, Hunter, James; and special friend, Kitti Dorenkott.
The family will receive friends 11 am to 12:30 pm Saturday at Chambers Funeral Home, 29150 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, where a memorial service will follow at 12:30 pm. Interment will be later at Lakeview Memory Garden in Phenix City, Alabama. Friends who wish may contribute to Ohio Health Hospice in Anne's memory.
