ANNIE MURPHY (nee McGowan), age 106.5, native of Pollagh, Achill Island, Co. Mayo, Ireland and raised in Kings Cavill, Scotland, beloved wife of the late Martin; loving mother of Catherine (deceased), Margaret, Martin (deceased), John (deceased), Sheila Crocker (James) and Thomas; proud grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 23 and great-great-grandmother of 1; sister of James McGowan and the late Anthony, John, Margaret, Patrick, Thomas and Michael McGowan; beloved aunt and great aunt of many.  Annie was an inspiration and a force and will be greatly missed.  Passed away surrounded by her family on May 30, 2025.  Funeral Mass Friday, June 6, St. Mary Church (250 Kraft St., Berea) at 11:30 A.M.  (Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at www.stmaryberea.org .
