ANTHONY "TONY" NUNES, age 87. Former spouse of Doris (nee Butcher); loving father of Beverly Murphy, Anne McGowin (Doug), Antoinette Turner (Peter) and the late Anthony; grandfather of Sean Faris (Kenzie), Riley McKenzie (Trenton), Colleen Murphy, Maria Nunes, Sebastian Nunes, Genevieve Turner and Madeleine Turner; great-grandfather of Ryn, Bode, Zianya and Zaria; brother of Mike, Pete, Nick and the late Frances, Angelo, Joe, Andrew and Frank; friend of many.

Tony was a proud veteran of the US Navy, serving on the USS Saratoga.  He was a champion handball, racquetball and pool player winning many trophies and awards.  He enjoyed golfing and a brief but memorable acting career.   Most of all he loved being a grandpa!  He adored his grandchildren from baby-sitting, teaching them to ride bikes, and cheering them on from the sidlelines to going to Indian's games, playing bingo at Rockport, and all the birthday and holiday celebrations in between.  Papa, you will be missed!

Passed away March 24, 2022. Private graveside services were held for the family with military honors at St. Joseph Cemetery.
