ARLENE S. BRENNAN (nee Sorento) of Olmsted Falls, Ohio formerly of Charlestown, New Hampshire, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. She would have been 97 years old on October 27, 2017 and often said she wanted to live to 100. Well, God had other plans for her and she now has joined her husband, James, who has been waiting for her. She was an amazing and beautiful soul, who touched the lives of so many. She will be greatly missed and yet we all have such beautiful memories to share.
Arlene is survived by her children, Jane Allison (Ray) of Concord, NH, Gerald Emery (Heather) of Lewiston, ME ans Christine Baker of Olmsted Falls, OH; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Arlene was born in Sunapee in 1920 and graduated from high school in 1938. She was often heard to say, "I graduated in the top ten of my class. Of course, there were only 11 graduates that year!" She retired from the Connecticut River Bank in 1981, where she had worked for 25 years, starting in bookkeeping and retiring as an Executive Secretary. She also worked part time with her husband, James, at Brennan Weldment Co.
Memorial Service Saturday, October 21, at 11:00 A.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS, where friends may call 10:00 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
