IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Audrey Rose
Nolan
April 8, 1926 – August 11, 2019
Mother holds her children's hands for just a little while...their heart forever.
AUDREY ROSE NOLAN (nee Malinosky), our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to join her beloved "honey" Clarence on August 11, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was 93.
The beloved wife of the late Clarence for 63 years, she leaves behind to grieve her loss her two children: Patricia (William) Shea and David (Tracie) Nolan; her six grandchildren: Victoria, William (Randi Harris), Martin (Donnesha Williams) and MaryAnn Shea (Daniel Strgel), Courtney and Savannah Nolan; her great-granddaughter Ky'lee Elizabeth Shea; and host of other family members that loved her as much as her immediate family did.
Her death reunites her with her parents: Frank and Minnie Malinosky, and her siblings: Helen, Frank (Alice), Emma (Carl) Bohlefeld, Arthur, Walter "Wally" (Betty), Dorothy, Ruth (Tony) Sharillo, Lawrence "Larry" (Ann and Portia), Gertude "Sis" (Edward) Zelinksy and Marguerite "Mickey" (Victor) Clark.
Audrey was a graduate of West Tech High School, Class of 1944 and a dedicated employee of Sears. Her family will forever remember her for her deep love of tigers, horses, both wild and carousel related, Shirley Temple and lighthouses. She was a member of St. Patrick West Park Drama Club, as well as a docent for the Cleveland Metropark Zoo. Her love of life and her laughter will fill memories for her family and friends for years to come.
A Celebration of Audrey's life will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14TH AT WALTER MARTENS & SONS 9811 DENISON AVE. (PARKING ENTRANCE OFF W. 99 ST.) where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 15th at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
We extend our sincere thanks to the staff of St. Augustine Towers, especially Bridgit and Cathy, who helped us get Audrey moved-in and settled. Although she was only part of the St. Augustine Towers family for just under a month, you and your staff gave her wonderful care and gave our family a peace of mind we had not had in several years. We also send our thanks to Craig who made sure that while Audrey was there, she ate.
Our family will forever be eternally gratefully to the nurses at Holy Family House in Parma, where Audrey spent her last ten days on this earth. We will never be able to repay all the love, kindness and comfort they provided to her in her hour of need. We especially thank her last nurse, Ann Marie Flanagan who helped us during those last precious hours we shared as a family with Audrey. We can only say thank you, and hope that our thanks is enough for the love you showed us.
