Barbara Josephine Garver (nee Cook), age 82, Did it "Her Way" with love, humor and respect. She was a talented stone sculptor who gifted many treasured pieces to those in her life. She had a disarming sense of humor at the most unexpected times. Always a lady who displayed a great sense of personal style & taste, and a most generous tipper. Loving and spirited mother of Jeffrey (Sue) Pintar, grandmother of Gable, Bonnie (Todd), great grandmother of Colin, Taylor; steadfast and cherished sister of the late Maryanne Tusick and Joan Steckbeck; treasured "Aunt Barb" and friend to many. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday, Dec. 2nd, 2011 at 4 pm. at St Mary of the Woods Chapel, 35755 Detroit Rd, Avon. Celebration of Life to follow immediately at a private residence.
