BETTY WOLF, passed away peacefully on February 9th at 9:05 AM surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old. Betty was born in Michigan on August 3rd in 1929. She moved to Northeast Ohio as a young girl. She had two sons, Jeff (deceased) and Scott. Betty is survived by her two sisters Alice and Henrietta (Renny), and brother Poncho. She also had two loving granddaughters, Amanda and Jessica, daughters of Scott and Margie.  She was very active in her granddaughters' lives from early childhood and most recently as they attended and graduated college. Betty lived in her North Olmsted residence for over 60 years. Her strong sense of self-reliance enabled her to stay independently in her home throughout her entire life. She had a very successful career as a realtor in the greater Cleveland area and was also very active many local civic organizations.  She served on the first Board of Directors of the Horizon Activities Center and was honored recently for her many contributions there.  She also was voted the North Olmsted Republican Woman of the Year in the 90's. Her enthusiasm for trying new things and optimistic outlook was very evident all throughout her life.
