BRIAN J. HIGGINS, age 64, father of Michael A., Laura M. Ralston, David T. (Brianna), Andrew J., and Diana L. (Bryan); cherished grandfather of six;  son of the late Helen M. (nee Fink) and Ralph P. Higgins, Sr.; brother of Ralph P., Jr. (Christine), Helen R. Kissling (Ron), and Robert M. Uncle to many. Former husband of Jean M. (nee O'Neil). Born in March 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio. Passed away August 16, 2024 with his family by his side.

Brian graduated from St. Ignatius High School, and successfully pursued higher education at Baldwin Wallace, then obtained a Master degree at Cleveland State University and completed his education at Cleveland State Marshall Law School. He joined his father and brothers at the family law practice focusing on Estate Planning. He retired too early in his career.

He was an avid Cleveland and local sports fan, and his passions for sports led him to coach youth sports for many years.

Despite his medical conditions and affliction, several of his favorite activities still burned bright. His passions for his family, playing the guitar,  enjoying time in the Metro Parks, and most of all fishing.  Brian enjoyed volunteering with Project Healing Waters assisting disabled veterans fishing.

Funeral Mass Thursday, August 22, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd., Westlake) at 10:30 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, WEDNESDAY 5-8 P.M.
