CAROL A. HALLORAN

CAROL A. HALLORAN (nee Palinchik), age 87, of Middleburg Heights, passed away August 10, 2026. She was born on September 24, 1938 to the late Michael and Anna (Brindza) Palinchik.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Thomas; her sister Barbara Smajdek; and brothers Eugene and Ernest Palinchik.

She is survived by her children Anne Rossoll (Joe), Patti Scalfano (Doug), Jacki Stone (Mark), Thomas (Rhonda), and Michael (Mary Beth); and her sister Donna Bogar (Carl).  Cherished grandmother of Mark Rossoll, Nicki Zink (Mitchell), Denise Hesser (Grant), Alison Gilchrist (Noah), Eric Scalfano, Brian Scalfano, Christopher Stone, Timothy Stone (Maryn), Shannon Gradert (Kyle), Sean Halloran (Emily), and Megan Halloran. Adoring great-grandmother of Henry, Cameron, Scarlett, Emma, and Ella. Beloved Aunt, Great Aunt, and friend to many.

Carol’s life was centered around family. Whether vacationing at Salt Fork, hosting the Labor Day corn roast, or wintering in Florida in retirement, she was always surrounded by family. She never missed her grandchildren’s concerts, dance recitals, and plays. She loved going to Kenny Chesney concerts, playing Skipbo, and the penny slots at the casinos. Her great grandchildren brought her joy in her later years.

Funeral Mass Friday, August 21, St. John Bosco Church (6480 Pearl Road, Parma Heights, OH) at 11:30 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, on THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, from 4-7 PM.
