CAROL J. YONDO (nee Carnes), age 79, beloved wife of 58 years to Bruce A.; loving mother of Michael (Heather), Debbie Burke and Shelly Young (Jim); proud grandmother of Emma, Abby, Jack, Caden, Luke, Brennan and Ava; dear sister of Joan Williams; aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.  Passed away unexpectedly March 21, 2022.  Funeral Mass Saturday, March 26, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 10 A.M.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., FRIDAY 4-7 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Monastery of the Poor Clares, 3501 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH  44111.

Carol was a ray of sunshine that lit up the room with her beautiful smile and vivacious personality. She loved deeply and gave her all in everything that she did . She was the best wife, mother and grandmother . Carol graduated from Magnificat in 1960. Married Bruce, the love of her life, in 1964 and had 3 wonderful children. Carol had a close knit group of friends since the early 70's that she cared for and enjoyed spending time laughing and playing bingo with. She always took on new challenges, becoming a flight attendant in her late forties. She then turned her talents to real estate . She became a top seller her first year with Howard Hanna and had much success throughout her career, but what was most important to her were the relationships she made along the way . After retirement, she and Bruce enjoyed traveling to warm destinations, the beach and spending lots of time with their 7 grandchildren. Carol will be missed by so many , but her loving spirit and all the great memories will live in our hearts forever .
