KOVAR, age 97, retired 39-year Brooklyn Police Officer (1952-1983), beloved husband of the late Rose (nee Blaha); loving father of Thomas (Elaine, deceased) and David (Lorraine); dear grandfather of Christine (George), William (Christina), Thomas Joseph and Denise Dixon; great-grandfather of Kaitlyn, Matthew and Charlotte; brother to the late Martin, Clarence and Edward.  WWII U.S. Navy veteran who served on the U.S.S. Sepulga (AO-20). Passed away July 25, 2022.  Graveside Service Tuesday, August 2, Riverside Cemetery (3607 Pearl Rd., Cleveland 44109) at 1:00 P.M.
