CHARLES K. "CHUCK" SHALTENS, age 77, born April 14, 1943, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 30, 2020.  Beloved son of the late Kenneth F. and Mary A. (nee Lewandowski); brother of Richard K. (Joan, deceased) of Westlake, OH, Jack K. (Eva) of Bensalem, PA and the late Tim; uncle of Kenneth (deceased)(Carol), Michael (deceased), Rose Marie (Tom), Christine, John (Patrice) and Jacqueline; great uncle of Sydney Marie, Tommy, Kelley Rose, John Anthony, Eric Michael and Morgan.

Chuck served in the US Army from Sept. 1960 to Oct. 1965.  He was employed by Getters Corp of America (Kemet) from 1966 thru 2002 and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engrs (Standard Bldg.) from 2009 to 2014. He was a member of the following organizations: Berea AL Post 91, Brook Park AL Post 610, North Olmsted VFW Post 7647 and Cleveland VFW Post 387 and VFW Post 2133.  His family and friends fondly remembered Chuck saying "Only in America".
