CHESTER "TOM" WOZNEY, age 82, beloved son of the late Sophia (nee Harmon) and Chester Wozney; loving brother of Roger Wozney (Carole) and Lynn Diaz; dear uncle of William, Christopher and Michael Wozney and Douglas and Jeremy Diaz and the late Jennifer Novak and dear great-uncle of their children.  U.S. Army veteran.  Tom was the 7th U.S. Armed Forces Chess Champion in 1966 and tied for first in the 1964 Ohio Championship.  He retired from East Ohio Gas Co. after many years of service.  Passed away March 1, 2023.  All Services private.  Inurnment Brooklyn Hts. Cemetery.
