David Joseph Bryan, "Joe" died Saturday, October 30 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, Ohio.
Joe was born, the oldest of two children, to Mary and Joe Bryan on Groundhog Day in 1940 in East Liverpool, Ohio.  At the age of three he moved with his Mom and sister to his Mom's family home in Salem, Ohio to live with his Grandparents (Gaugy and Pa) after the sudden death of his father.
Joe was a proud son of Salem, graduate of the University of Notre Dame and retired IBM-er.  He was a walking encyclopedia of all things sports related, especially at the high school and college levels, and in his free time enjoyed going to local high school track meets.  He was a deeply faith-filled Catholic man who attended mass daily.  He was a strong supporter of the West Side Catholic Center, St. Francis School in Cleveland and The Lost Boys of the Sudan.  Joe's favorite kind of day was any one in which he was spending time with his family and never missed a special event for any of his children or grandchildren.  He leaves behind Joni, his wife of 58 years, his five children (Colleen, Shannon, Joey, Kara and Erin) and their spouses (Tim, Kelly, Shawn and Kevin), his fourteen grandchildren (Molly, Kaidy, Ryan, Alison, Jesse, Joey, Olivia, Lucy, Soren, Esme, Mary, Jamie, Charlie and Sam), his great-granddaughter Nora, his sister Mary Lou and innumerable additional friends and loved ones.  He was, and is, loved beyond measure and has left a gaping hole in all our hearts.
"God. Family. Friends. In that order." -Joe Bryan
