DAVID A. ZABAWSKI

DAVID A. ZABAWSKI, age 79. Beloved husband of the late Virginia (nee Critz); loving father of Cindy Shuck (Rick), Rich and Terri Grey (Dale); grandfather of Joel Doherty (Rachel), Paige Grey, Jessica Sutton (Garrett) and MacKenzie Grey; great-grandfather of Tucker, Tenley, Waylon and Charli; son of the late Suzanne (ee Maruskin) and Franklin Zabawski; brother of Lucille Zabawski, Connie Zabawski and the late Don Zabawski; uncle and friend of many. 

David worked for Ford Motor Company and retired after over 30 years of dedicated service. He and his wife Virginia loved to travel. They especially enjoyed going to Germany and Myrtle Beach. He was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and bowler.  Each day he would be in his backyard feeding all the birds. He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church (formerly St. Peter & Paul Church) in Lakewood, OH. He was a very charitable person to the many organizations that asked. 

Passed away October 25, 2026. Funeral Service Saturday, October 31, at 12 Noon in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS where friends may call 11:00 AM. until time of service. Private family burial Lutheran Cemetery.
