DELIA M. ORAVEC

Delia Marie Oravec (née Rader) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the age of 70.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Oravec. She is survived by her children, Gina (Neil) Williams of Chicago, Dorothy DelMonico, and Michael DelMonico. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Claire and Ethan Williams; Mitchell (Amy) Frear, Adrian DelMonico, Victoria and Olivia Cunningham; and Gavin, Carmella, Peyton, and Luca DelMonico.

Marie is also survived by her siblings, Dan (Maggie) Rader, Frank Addison, Christine Addison (George), and Greg (Amber) Addison. She adored her many nieces and nephews.

She was the cherished daughter of the late James Rader and Navia Jean Addison (née Lovell), and was preceded in death by her siblings Virginia, John, Brenda, and Kathleen.

Marie loved her cats and dogs, getting lost in a good book, had a deep passion for music, and loved to laugh. She brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
