DIXIE L. BURNS (nee Hyatt), age 82, of Olmsted Falls; cherished wife of James R. for 56 years; beloved mother of Kristin Schirhart (Robert), Bradley, and Derek (Kristine); loving grandmother of Ryan, Rachel, Blake, Chase, and Bryce; a dear sister of Harolyn Walker (Donald).  Dixie was born in Lima, OH, attended New London High School, and graduated Ashland College.  She enjoyed teaching in the Medina City Schools, Berea City Schools, and St. Thomas Nursery School.  Passed away June 16, 2019.  All services private.
