DONALD R. WILLIAMS age 81; beloved husband of 53yrs. to Joan (nee Carnes); loving father of Laura Feskanich (Larry), Cindy Jozity (Dan) and Brian (Katie); proud grandpa of Jared, Ryan, Tyler, Addison, Brendan, Alex and Owen; brother of Ken and Rich (Mary); beloved uncle, cousin and friend of many. U.S. Army veteran proudly serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. Passed away at home the day after his 81st birthday. Don was raised by Myron and Cleo Williams (deceased) in Canfield, OH along with his two brothers Rich and Ken. He attended Youngstown State University before becoming a paratrooper in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division.  After successfully serving our country, Don met Joan, and they began their family in Cleveland, OH.  Don was a devoted husband for over 53 years.  He most importantly cherished his time with his family and was a dedicated father to his three children and seven grandchildren.  Don was an active grandpa attending sporting events, babysitting, uber driving, and having fun.  He enjoyed being with friends and family, whether it was playing cards, vacationing, and pickleball.  He also loved car shows and was able to repair or fix anything.  Don was an amazing listener and when he spoke his words were impactful.

Over the last year and a half Don battled his illness with his family, friends, and neighbors by his side.  Joan cared for him daily and worked tirelessly to extend Don's quality of life.  The family was fortunate to spend this past weekend celebrating his birthday and Veteran's Day.  He will be missed and remembered having created endless memories for his family and friends.  The family is at peace knowing Don is freed from his illness.
