DOROTHY L. COOK (nee Buchanan), 89, arrived in heaven July 19, 2021. Loving wife of the late Darnell N. Beloved mother of Barb Rosin (deceased) (Walter), Regis, Gary Dexter (Debbie), Sandy Piers (Bob), Pam Smith (Ron), David (Sandi), Tim (Jill) and Daryl.  Dear grandmother of 26, great grandmother of 48 and great great grandmother of 4. Dearest sister of the late Bea, Hazel, Alice, Wilma and Frank.  Born at home on August 10, 1931 to the late Florence (nee Eaton) and Reva Buchanan, she spent her early years in Coudersport, Pennsylvania.  Recently, Dorothy was a resident of Fort Collins, Colorado and lived in Arizona and Colorado for the past 35 years; prior to that she was a resident of Elyria, Wellington and Wakeman.  While living in Ohio she worked at both the Wellington Hospital and Elyria Methodist Home and attended Camden Baptist Church and Liberty Baptist Church.  Dorothy was always adventurous, never afraid to try new things or go new places.  Spending time with her meant that you laughed a lot and ate well. She was a great cook and if you tried anything she made, you always ended up wanting the recipe.  Dorothy not only loved her kids and all the grandkids, but also always supported them in whatever they were doing.  Memorial Service Friday, July 30, at 6:00 PM in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
