DOROTHY M. TRUNK (nee Matway) age 93. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd; loving mother of Tom (Cindy), Pat, Jim (Rose), Mike (Kathy), Mary Perhacs (Bob), Chris Trunk (Chris Thomas) and Connie Butcher (Randy, deceased); grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 7; step-grandmother; daughter of the late Anna (nee Nagay) and Jacob Matway; sister of the late Jack Matway (Irene); sister-in-law of Nancy Trunk. In addition to raising her family of seven children, Dorothy worked for the County to help educate and train children with disabilities. She spent her summers travelling the world with relatives and friends. Dorothy's loving spirit extended out into the community by knitting and crocheting warm winter hats, scarfs, afghans and baby blankets for Birthright, West Side Catholic Center, St. Hermann's Shelter and St. Malachi Church. Passed away July 25, 2020 with her family by her side. Funeral Service Thursday, July 30, at 10 A.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., where friends may call and where social distancing will be observed and facemasks required for both the service and the visitation WEDNESDAY 5-8 P.M. (The funeral service will be live streamed Thursday on Chambers Funeral Homes Facebook page). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
