DOUGLAS J. SHAPIRO aka John E. Douglas, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Karen (nee Larson), sons Andy and Brian (Alison Hanby), sisters-in-law Toby Larson and Gerrie Shapiro, and too many friends to count. He was the voice of Cash Explosion and Smythe Cramer for many years, worked at WHK, WKYC, and Fox Sports Network. He was the owner and editor of Cruisin' Times Magazine which will continue as that was his final wish. U. S. Army veteran and served with the 82nd Airborne in Germany as a Staff Sargeant. Passed away July 14, 2016. Celebration of Life Saturday, August 20, 2016 Christ Community Church (750 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson) at the car show from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.
