EDGAR A. PATTERSON, JR., age 90, beloved husband of Mitzi (nee Mowers); loving father of Kim Patton (Greg); faithful and loving companion to his granddogs Max, Abby, Spike, Shadoe, Charlie, Carson and Nora; dear brother of Sandra Cowing, Marcia Clark, Neil (Carol) Patterson and Steve Patterson; uncle, cousin and friend of many. A graduate of Ohio State University, Ed served as president of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. Ed was an accomplished architect, having designed the first three buildings of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar A. Patterson, Sr. and Elizabeth (née Sasso) Patterson. Ed passed away on July 22, 2022, with his loving wife of 65 years, Mitzi, and his beloved daughter, Kim, by his side, nearly one year after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The family would like to thank the staff of Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their compassionate care of Ed. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
