EDNA L. KAASE (nee Cole) age 89, beloved wife of the late Harry C. Ramage and Dr. Paul Kaase, loving mother of Constance Rak (Robert) and John Ramage (dear friend Loreen Spuhler), grandmother of Jason Rak (dear friend Jackie Anderson), sister of Frank Cole and the late Carroll Cole, Jean DeBerry, Pennie McFan and Bernard Cole, beloved aunt of many especially Stephanie and Connie Cole and great aunt. Edyie made the most of every day, always keeping busy and enjoying life to the fullest.  She had several hobbies and enjoyed doing mulitple things in her spare time.  Edyie and her late husband, Dr. Paul Kaase, were devoted Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fans.  They would reserve their weekends for football and often head to Columbus on Saturdays and Cleveland Stadium on Sundays.  One of her favorite parts about football weekends was tailgating with her friends.  Edyie was a lover of the ocean.  Singer Island being her favorite place in Florida.  For over 30 years, she would make month-long trips to the beach.  Edyie was an avid Bridge and Pinochle player who also loved playing Bingo.  She was a lover of all games that included her friends and family.  She played multiple times a week with many different groups.  She had great luck and often came home with winnings, she always said "Lady Luck" was with her.  She was a distinguished member of the Red Hat Society of Westlake.  She also participated in local lunch groups where she shared many wonderful afternoons with her friends.  Edyie worked in the dental office of her late husband, Dr. Paul Kaase.  She was a dental assistant and office manager.  Her and Paul spent their later years living in their beautiful condo in Westlake, OH.  They loved their home and loved spending time in it together.  Mostly, she loved spending time with her family.  Passed away September 5, 2020. Funeral Mass Friday, September 11, St. Richard Church (26855 Lorain Rd.) at 10 A.M. (face masks required) Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. where social distancing will be observed and face masks required THURSDAY 4-7 P.M.
