EDNA T. SCHLEICH (nee Tenhopen), age 90, beloved wife of the late David W., Jr.; loving mother of David (Jamie), Raymond (Sharon) and Julie Schleich (Christopher Wiesner); proud grandmother of Raymond (Donna), Janna Cavin (Adam), Kristie Gair (Stuart) and Sierra; great-grandmother of Case, Graham and Henry; daughter of the late Mabel (nee Henry) and Raymond Tenhopen. Edna's family was always her first priority in life. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and her cat "Buddy". She was a devoted wife to her husband Dave, as they traveled through life, always together, for 67 years. Edna loved to crochet, was a very talented artist and calligrapher and a wonderful cook. She retired from NASA where she had a wonderful career as a draftsman and Division Secretary. She was a devoted member of Denison Avenue United Church of Christ for 70 years, serving as Moderator, Sunday school teacher and was a member of many committees. In recent years she has been a member of West Park United Church of Christ where her cards and letters brought joy to many. Edna had many, many friends and her positive spirit, laughter, joy, sense of humor, and most importantly her love, will be cherished forever by all whose lives she touched. Passed away September 5, 2022.  All Services SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, West Park United Church of Christ (3909 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH 44111) at 12 Noon.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR., FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 4-7 P.M.   Memorial contributions to West Park United Church of Christ would be appreciated.
