EDWARD BINGHAM SMITH, age 87, beloved son of the late Berneice (nee Kerrigan) and Joseph; dearest friend of Virginia Siebert; loving brother of Will Smith (Mary), Hattie Schenk (Kyle) and the late Ellen Smith and the late Deborah Berman (Bill); dear nephew of the late Katie Carter (Bob); "Unc", Uncle, and Great Uncle of many; guiding hand to Jaimie Schwartz (Karen) and many others.  Ed was the steward of his family's legacy, the Pipe Line Development Co. ("PLIDCO"), where he lead with humility, wisdom and love. Ed was remarkably witty, endlessly generous, deeply kind, and a captivating storyteller- just like his mother.  U.S. Army veteran.  Proud graduate of The Ohio State University.  He was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He was a Friend of Bill W. for over 40 years.  Passed away June 14, 2025.  A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held Sunday, June 29 , 2025, at PLIDCO (11792 Alameda Dr., Strongsville, OH 44149) from 2-6 P.M. with Words of Remembrance at 2:30 P.M with food and refreshments to follow.  Private interment Woodvale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Second Mile Outreach, 1480 W. Bagley Rd., Berea, OH 44017.
