JAMIESON
October 30, 1935 – April 9, 2026
EILEEN ELIZABETH JAMIESON, 90, of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2026. Eileen was born on October 30th, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to Charles and Mary (Tomasco) Lowman. She grew up in Detroit and moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1963. She worked for Fairview Hospital in radiology services and retired in 2000. After spending the next few years babysitting her grandchildren, she applied for a position at JCPenney. She was hired as a sales associate to work over the holidays and stayed 11 years, retiring at 80 years young.
She was an active member of St. Bernadette Church, and her faith was central to her life. She conquered her fear of public speaking and read scripture for the daily mass at her church, as this brought her closer to her Catholic community. Eileen was an avid Cleveland sports fan, cheering on the Cavaliers to a championship. Football was her favorite sport, and she truly enjoyed watching the games on Sundays and rooting for the Cleveland Browns. She loved chatting with her family about Browns players, coaches, draft picks and the hopes of a winning season.
Eileen is survived by her children Heather (Jim) Miles, Scott Jamieson, Amy (Paul) Jamieson-Petonic. Grandmother to Jordan (Steve) Young, Mackenzie (Joey) Kirby, Jimmy Miles, Kelly (Ben) Miles, and Mandi Petonic, and great grandchildren Jamieson and Conrad Young, and Baby Boy Kirby.
Eileen loved spending time with her family. She frequently went on trips with her children and grandchildren, including Disney World multiple times to see her favorite movie, Fantasia. She always supported her grandchildren in their activities including sports, school ceremonies, and plays. She also loved going out for coffee or lunch with friends from work.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary (Tomasco) Lowman and siblings Robert (Charlene) Lowman, Joan (Babe) (Dale) Lillis, Patricia Cooke (Rupert), and Geraldine Lowman.
The family will be holding visitation hours from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at Chambers Funeral Home in North Olmsted, Ohio.
