EILEEN C. TEARE, age 77. Beloved daughter of the late Mamie (nee Milavec) and Russell; best friend of Sr. Donna Schultz; cousin of Linda Cox Teare, Jim Teare (Nancy), David Teare, Jeffrey Teare, Michael (Anne) and Ellen Foster (Michael); 2nd cousin of Corinne, Brennan, Jake, Joe, Emma, Henry and Jack. Eileen graduated from Notre Dame College of Ohio with a Bachelors in English and from John Carroll University with a Masters in English. Her many accomplishments include co-authoring "College and Career Success Simplified" (Pearson, 2004), she was named Lorain County Community College "You Make a Difference" award winner and Association of Two Year Colleges nomination as Outstanding Adjunct Teacher Award (2000-2001). Her teaching career included the following: Regina High School (1965-1967), Collinwood Junior High School (1967-1968), Louis Pasteur Elementary School, Glenville school librarian (1968-1971), St. Joseph Academy (1971-1991) and Lorain Community College (1991). While at St. Joseph Academy, Eileen received international recognition from Quill and Scroll for her work on SJA News and as Curriculum Director, helped to gain "Blue Ribbon" recognition for St. Joseph by the Federal Department of Education (1991). She was also an Associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph.  Passed away March 11, 2020. FUNERAL SERVICE SUNDAY, MARCH 22, AT 4:00 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., where friends may call 2:00 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE. There will be a MEMORIAL MASS, SATURDAY, MAY 30, Church of St. Clarence, 30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted at 10:00 A.M.
