IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elaine Marie
Klepek
December 29, 1940 – July 29, 2021
ELAINE MARIE KLEPEK (nee Sulzer) – born December 29, 1940; loving wife of Eugene (dec.) and mother to Tommy (Christine Lombardo), Dawn (Matt Jeffries), Chris, Peter (Kim Jaeckin) and Paul (Laura Zetts); adoring grandmother to Ethan, Kate, Zak, Patrick, Adam, Tommy, Alexis, Grace, Sam, Andy and Morgan; sister of Barbara (Tom) Feldkamp and the late Richard (Noreen) Sulzer, Skip (Alice) Sulzer and Joe (Sujata) Sulzer; fun-loving Aunt and friend to many.
Elaine was blessed to have five children. She was so proud of their accomplishments as carpenters, a nurse, a teacher and a business professional. She instilled a strong work ethic in all of them and as evidenced by their successes in life, they definitely mastered this skill. The Catholic faith was important to Elaine and prominent in her home. Her children all attended Catholic schools and were active in the parish. There was nothing more important to Elaine than family however. Her greatest source of happiness and peace was found within her family. She welcomed son and daughters in law along the way and the many grandchildren that followed and recognized her role as the matriarch. There was so much joy found in celebrating life's big moments but also in the little ones such as countless soccer games, track meets, football games and plays. It was important to Elaine that her children knew the value of family and being present for their own children.
A constant source of joy in her life was her grandchildren. She enjoyed their many activities and they always brought a smile to her face. She was so proud of their many accomplishments and was looking forward to their future graduations and weddings.
One of the many joys of Elaine's life was her dog, Abby. Her loyal companion was with her through many ups and downs of life, including her recent battle with lung cancer. Elaine's strength and her faith allowed her to get through that battle with the hope of happy times to come.
In her later years, Elaine was enjoying life in North Ridgeville. She had met several new, dear friends that were a source of laughter and camaraderie. She was eternally grateful to have their companionship and support.
