ELAINE B. TRAVIS (nee Bryant), age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 9, 2023.

Beloved wife of Richard for 58 years, cherished mother of Russell (Alma), Kimberly Ray (Brian) and Bethany Travis Klesh. Grandmother of Zachary, Lucy, and Samuel Ray, Avery, and Kendalyn Klesh. Sister to Karen Davis (Phil), Wayne Bryant, Carol Snell, Fred Bryant, and Cris Bryant (Aggie).  Sister-in-law of Julie Whalen (John). Dear aunt, great-aunt, and friend to many.  She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Ray, her parents Bernard and Catherine Bryant, her mother-in-law Myrtle Travis and father-in-law Charles Travis Jr., sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Sweet (Norky), Linda Wells (James), Mark Snell, Charles Travis III, and sister-in-law Kathleen Travis.  Born and raised in Brasher Falls, New York and spent the last 48 years living in North Olmsted, Ohio. Elaine was very devoted to her Catholic faith. Her life, marriage, and the upbringing of her family all centered around her religious beliefs.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed being a grandmother. She made everyone she met feel special. Her kindness, sincerity, and loving ways were infectious and will be missed dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for her Funeral Mass, Friday, June 16, St. Richard Church (26855 Lorain Rd North Olmsted) at 10:00 AM.  A Celebration of Elaine's life to follow at The West Side Irish American Club, 8559 Jennings Road, Olmsted Twp., OH..  Interment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery, where she will be buried close to her granddaughter.    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Elaine's honor to the Kidney Foundation @ kidney.org, the Prostate Cancer Foundation @ pcf.org  or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital @ stjude.org.
