ELEANORE M. CALLAHAN (nee Duray), age 84, beloved wife of the late David J.; loving mother of Mary O'Doherty (Patrick), Michelle Callahan-Kaleta (David) and Scott Callahan; proud grandmother of Connor, Brendan and Patrick O'Doherty and McKaylee and Danielle Callahan; sister of Edward Duray (deceased), Robert Duray and Elaine Plungas; aunt and great-aunt of many.  Eleanore received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from John Carroll University and her Master's Degree from Cleveland State University.  She retired after a long career of teaching English at Mentor High School.  Eleanore was involved in many activities including volunteer work at Christ Child Society and the Concord Garden Club.  She was also involved in many book clubs and other volunteer work.  Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family July 26, 2021.  Funeral Mass Friday, July 30, St. Gabriel Church (9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd., Concord, OH) at 1:00 P.M. where friends may call ONE HOUR PRIOR TO MASS.  Interment private Concord Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or Cypress Hospice, 2 Berea Commons, Berea, OH 44017.
