ELFRIEDE PONTAU (nee Erdmann), age 100; loving wife of the late Emil; loving mother of Edeltraud "Trudy" Hart (Dane, deceased), Gerhard, and Elizabeth Cottom (Thomas); grandmother of Rachel Bondor (Stephen), Kurt Cottom and Noelle Cottom; great-grandmother of Kenton and Ada  Bondor; sister of Martha Angell, Gerhard Erdmann and the late Olga, Alma, Irene and Natalie; Tante of many.  Elfreide was blessed by her Father at age 10 - the blessing lasted for 100 years and has extended to all of her family.  She was loved by many and will be forever in our hearts.  Went home to be with the Lord on Resurrection Day April 17, 2022.  Funeral Service Thursday, April 21, Immanuel Lutheran Church at 10 A.M. (Meet at Church).  Interment Riverside Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, WEDNESDAY 4-7 P.M. AND THURSDAY AT CHURCH ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE. Memorial contributions are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2928 Scranton Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113.
