ELIAS J. NADER, age 63, beloved husband of Lisa L. (nee Stanford); devoted father of Christopher (Stephanie) and Benjamin; proud grandfather of Boone and Jase. Loving brother of Helene Eckert (Alan), Linda Spevock (George, deceased), and Marianne Feuerstein (Glenn).

Cherished brother-in-law of Thom and Kelly Stanford and Debby Stanford Brousek. A dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Elias retired in March 2025 after a remarkable 44-year career as a registered nurse with the Cleveland Clinic, spending most of his career at Lakewood Hospital. Over the years, he worked in a wide variety of roles—from surgical nursing and pre/post-operative care to nursing supervisor and clinical documentation review. Known for his dedication, versatility, and compassion, he left a lasting impression on patients and colleagues alike.

He enjoyed spending weekends at the lake in Marblehead with his family, both before and after his children were born, cherishing the time and memories made there. Elias was incredibly proud of both of his sons and would eagerly share their accomplishments and latest endeavors with everyone who would listen—from his colleagues and friends to his doctors and care team.

He had a deep love for television—whether it was the latest episodes of NCIS or Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, or a rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond or M*A*S*H, he could happily spend hours watching his favorite shows over and over again. Elias was a proud Michigan football fan, a passion that began as a child with his admiration for their helmet designs and grew into a lifelong love of the team. He always looked forward to the annual rivalry game against Ohio State, cheering on the Wolverines with enthusiasm.

Funeral Service Friday, June 13, at 11:30 A.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD, where friends may call THURSDAY 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
