ELLEN "EVELYN" DOHERTY (nee Carr) age 89. Born and raised in Mennacannon, Kilcar; County Donegal, Ireland. Devoted wife of Daniel J. (deceased); beloved mother of six: Sean (deceased), Daniel Francis (deceased), Kevin (Bridget), Randall (Colleen), Denise Kennedy (Terry) and Rosemarie Dana; loving grandmother of Danny, Kyle, Meghan, and Sean Doherty (Tiffany), Caitlin Logue, Kellie Mastney (Jonathan), Joseph, Kate, Maeve and Philip Kennedy and Zachary and Dezra Dana. She is survived by 4 of her 14 siblings: Annie Byrne of N. Ridgeville, Cartha Carr of Co. Wicklow, Ireland, Hugh Carr of Glasgow, Scotland and Cathal Carr of Co. Donegal, Ireland; sister-in-law of Mary McGuire; Loving aunt, cousin and dear friend of many. Evelyn lived her life with strong faith, courage, resilience and grace and will be missed dearly. Passed away February 4, 2025. Funeral Mass Monday, Feb. 10, Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
