FRANCIS C. GARDNER, age 80, beloved husband of the late Kathy (nee Phillips); loving father of Virginia A. Gardner; loving Papa of Ryan Bo Gardner; dear brother of Richard Gardner, Billy Strehle and the late Claire Plummer; uncle and beloved friend of many.  Francis was an avid Cleveland sports fan and a die-hard race fan and car owner which were a major part of his life. He got his grandson involved in racing at a young age and has been there every step of the way from the go-karts to now a full-size car. Ryan will carry on his love of the sport. Francis will rest in peace knowing that he helped prepare his grandson to win a track championship at Barberton speedway in 2020. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, anyone that knew him and especially the racing community.
