GAIL HARRY PAXTON

GAIL HARRY PAXTON, age 75, beloved husband of the late Nancy (nee Borgmann) passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026. Gail is survived by sisters, Joyce Ellis (David, deceased), Jeanne Hicks (David, deceased), Rosemary Thomascheske; sisters-in-law, Patricia Miller (Francis), Elizabeth Musolf (Timothy), and Marcella Slusher (Bradley, deceased), Jane Borgmann and Gail Borgmann. Gail was a much-loved uncle and great uncle to many.

Gail was pre-deceased by his parents, Russell Paxton & Catherine McGettigan of Wisconsin; brothers, Charles Paxton, Carl Paxton; father and mother in-law, Harry R. Borgmann, Sr. and Elizabeth A. Borgmann (nee Kelley); brothers-in-law, Harry R. Borgmann, Jr. (Jane), John K. Borgmann (Gail) and Thomas J. Borgmann, Sr. (Susan, deceased); as well as nephews, Roger Hicks, Richard Paxton, Robert J. Miller, and Nicholas J. Borgmann.

During his life, Gail enjoyed a long-term Ford Motor Company career. Outside of work he enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He and Nancy traveled nearly all the states, often camping along the way. They also traveled to Mexico and Dominican Republic a few times seeking new adventures. Gail and Nancy cherished each other and, together, they stood cheering on those they loved. He was kind, generous and had a heart of gold. He will be missed terribly.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2 P.M., Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142--please meet at  Bell Tower inside front gate)
