GAR F. (Butch) Carney passed away on February 15, 2024 due to complications related to open heart surgery in November.

He was born January 28, 1954 to Charles and Irene (Berta) Carney in Lorain, Ohio.

He graduated from Admiral King High School and attended Kent State University.
He worked in management for companies in Ohio, Georgia, and Indiana over the years.

Butch is survived by daughter Allison (Adam) Brown, four grandchildren, Benjamin, Noah, Hannah, and Grace Brown, two brothers, David (Patty) and Greg (Karen) Carney, nephews, Lucas and Nathan Van Niel and John Carney, and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Mike Carney, and beloved dog, Puppy.

Funeral Service Monday, February 19, at 7PM in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. at STEARNS RD. where friends may call MONDAY 4PM until time of service
Greg Brown will be officiating services.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
