Jr. (Heidi), Katie, Mary Brereton (Peter) and Susan Love (Brian); grandfather of Peter George Brereton (Amy), Patrick Brereton (Weronika), Kelly Love and Brian George Love; great-grandfather of Isabelle and Peter L. Brereton; brother of the late Joseph, Ellen Joyce, Anne Baude, Mary McAuliffe, John, Maurice and Kathleen Hoefer; uncle and great uncle of many. Passed away October 7, 2011. Longtime journalist and columnist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and author of more than a dozen books.
