GEORGE JOSEPH CUBIC, age 100.Beloved husband of 77 years to Madeline (nee Staron); loving father of Marcia Jurcsisn (David), Mary Beth Basalla (Tom), Jean Koplan (Stan), Marilyn Emsley (Brian), James, John (Donna) and the late Ellen Cubic and Janet Sima; dear grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather 10; son of the late Anna (nee Vohar) and Andrew; brother of the late Norma Jean Sonny, Dolores Sees, Albert and Andrew; uncle and friend of many.

George was born September 20, 1923 in Centerville, PA and lived in Smock, PA until he moved to Cleveland in his early teens. He was a Marine Veteran during WWII. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. in 1989. He was a huge sports fan and enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.  George's  key to a long life were three things; burgers, bacon and bakery.  He was a loving, faithful, devoted and hard-working husband, father and Grandpa.  He will be dearly missed by all.

Passed away May 3, 2024. Funeral Mass Thursday, May 9, Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 11:00 AM where friends may call 9:30 until time of Mass in the Gathering Room of the church.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
