GEORGE P. McBRIDE, SR., age 85, beloved husband of 57 years to Mary (nee Mulrooney); loving father of Thomas F., Mary C. and George P., Jr. (Rhonda); proud grandfather of Theresa, Alana, Peter, Frances and Lucy; father-in-law of Tara McBride; brother of the late Rev. Daniel McBride, Florence Phillips (Robert), Charles (Anne), Maryellen Hammer (George) and Ethel Moran (Patrick); brother-in-law of Jean Ann Mulrooney; uncle, great-uncle, cousin and dear friend of many.  Proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School Class of 1955 and John Carroll University Class of 1959.  George retired after 40 plus years at LTV Steel.  U.S. Army veteran.  Passed away unexpectedly July 23, 2023.  Funeral Mass Thursday, July 27, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park) at 10 A.M.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
