GEORGE M. NASHAR, age 79.  Beloved husband of 53 years to Donna (nee Shibley); loving father of Nancy Norman (David, M.D.), Noelle Marini and Nicole Andrews (John); grandfather of Elliot, Steven, Matthew (Rebecca), Andrew, Deniz, Vincent, Nicholas, Elise, Ava, Zachary, Lola and Matilda; brother of Mary Louise Witecki (Tom), Judy Walklin (Roger), Joe (Joanne), Christine Smith (Bruce), Marion Ouellette (Tom) and Patricia Schowalter (Michael); uncle and great uncle of many.  Passed away suddenly May 20, 2018.  U.S. Army veteran.  For 16 years, George devoted his time and energy to the residents of the City of North Olmsted and was honored to be elected and serve as Ward 3 City Councilman.  He retired from GM Parma after 28 years of service and was Judge Advocate and an active member of North Olmsted VFW Post 7647.  Funeral Mass Saturday, May 26, St. Richard Church (26855 Lorain Rd.) at 10 A.M.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
