GERALD C. "JERRY" MILLER, age 86, of Rocky River, OH and Terre Haute, IN. Beloved husband of 64 years to Dorothy Miller (nee Haley); loving father of Gerald Michael (Susan) of Riverside, CA, Stephen (dec.), Rosemary Rothkopf (Robert) of Indianapolis, IN, Timothy (dec.) and Annette Dever (Steve) of Rocky River, OH; grandfather of Chet, Stephanie and Timothy Miller, Amanda, Steve and Jack Rothkopf, and Victoria, Monica, Samantha and Andrew Dever; great-grandfather of Sara Orbe and Jacob, Luke, Janae, and Alexis Miller; dearest brother of Robert (dec.), William (dec.) and George. Passed away January 30, 2013. Jerry was a civil engineer and proud graduate of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology. U.S. Navy Veteran. He began his career as a civil engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad and then moved to Chicago, IL to accept a position with the Kentile Corporation as plant engineer. He later moved his family to Terre Haute to work for the Haley Brothers Construction Co. Jerry spent the last 16 years of his career as the President and owner of Miller Engineering & Construction Co. in Terre Haute. He was a respected businessman and a dedicated member of St. Margaret Mary and St. Benedict Church. He was a devoted family man who was generous, kind, considerate, and will be missed by all.
