GERALDINE V. ASSANAKIS (nee Guido) age 92. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of George (Maureen), Kim Elswick (Joseph) and Terri Frazier; dear grandma of Christopher Assanakis, Michael Kovach (Sara), Stephanie Blake (Chad), Stephen Bond (Alyssa), Jennifer Conrad (Gary), Kaley Bond, Eric Bond, Robert Assanakis, Brian Bond and Lexie Elswick; great-grandma Caden, Logan, Joey, Colton, Weston, Jack and Cameron; sister of Eleanor Rivello and the late Rudy Guido, Nellie Falasi, Anne Angony and Ernestine Guido; aunt and friend of many. Passed away September 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Service Saturday, September 10, at 1:30 PM. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS where friends may call FRIDAY 4-7 PM. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.

Gerri was dearly loved by all that had the pleasure of being in her company.  She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her warmth, kindness, feisteness and wit will be held in the hearts of those that love her forever.  She was always one to welcome anyone to her dinner table for a feast. She loved nothing better than having her family sit down, hold her hand and be with her.  Our hearts are full and we all are so thankful for all of the beautiful memories .

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Renaissance for their special care and love they showed to their mom.
