GERARD BUTTERFIELD, age 83, (native of Mayobridge, Newry, Co. Down, Ireland).  Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Cafferkey); loving father of Margaret LaCoste (Greg), John (Laura), Patrick (Kelly), Gerard (Kristin), Rose Seighman (Scott), Eileen Estergall (Michael), Ann Horn (Kevin) and Mary Beth Lane (Brian); grandfather of 15; great-grandfather of 3; son of the late Margaret (nee English) and Edward; brother of Desmond (Sally, deceased), Patrick (Rosalie), Eamon (Kathleen), Pearse (deceased) (Rose) and Kevin (deceased) (all of Ireland); uncle and great-uncle of many.  Lifelong dear friend of Joe Boyle (Margaret).  Jerry was the captain of the 1954 Gaelic football team that won the MacRory Cup in Co. Down, Ireland.  "Up Down!"  U.S. Army veteran.  Passed away November 9, 2018.  Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 13, St. Peter Church (35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville) at 10:30 A.M.
