Funeral Mass for Harry Anthony Gibbons, 72, of Cleveland, will be 12 noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. Patrick's Church (West Park), 4427 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH 44135. Fr. Joseph Pednekar, MSFS, will officiate the Mass. Mr. Gibbons passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Fairview Hospital. Born July 29, 1943, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime Cuyahoga County resident. Mr. Gibbons was a member of Plumber's Local 55. He was the beloved husband of Mary Therese (nee Reilly) Gibbons; loving father of Sean (Maureen) Gibbons of Cleveland, Sheila (Jeffrey) Quinn of Fairview Park, and Mary (Jim) O'Malley of Cleveland; grandfather of Seamus, Kaitlyn and Grace Gibbons, Connor and Clare Quinn and Maura and Tommy O'Malley; brother of Michael Gibbons, Judy Schanz, Kathy Gibbons and Alicia Gibbons; brother-in-law of Robert Jarab and Julie Gibbons; and uncle of many. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred (nee Ryan) Gibbons; sisters, Joyce Jarab and Patty Suhanic; brother, Dennis Gibbons; brothers-in-law, Fred Schanz and Jack Suhanic; and sister-in-law, Peggy Gibbons. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chambers Funeral Home, 4420 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland. Burial will be private.
